Jewelry Care

Although Gold Filled jewelry will not tarnish, it will get dirty. The oils from your skin transfer to the metal and need to be washed off periodically. For extra care, after each wear gently wipe each piece of jewelry clean of makeup and skin oils with a jewelry polishing cloth or a cloth with warm water. It's best to keep your pieces away from harsh chemicals, chlorine, and perfumes, as this will take its toll on your precious jewels.

Under normal wearing conditions, and with proper care, your gold filled jewelry can last a lifetime. Heavy wear and rough conditions will, of course, impact how your jewelry looks. This is true no matter what your jewelry is made of. Always last on, first off!

Our handmade rings are made from recycled bronze. Bronze will oxidize/tarnish over time. However, all pieces are finished and sealed to maintain their luster and shine. The best way to care for your jewelry is to store it in a clean/dry place, and avoid long-term exposure to humidity if possible. We do not recommend wearing your piece while showering or swimming.

We take pride in the quality of our work, and with proper care, your jewelry should last you for many years. However, jewelry is by no means indestructible.

It's rare, but accidents happen! Should you require a repair, please contact us with your name, an order number, and details/photos. This will allow us to assist with next steps and notify you of any fees prior to sending your item in.
